OMG best month ever

ok so december was my best month ever my sales were over $1600!!! that is so awesome - i mean it is not super considering it is my only income and it is going to drop to 1/3 of that now that the season is over - but wow - i hope i can get every month up like that!!!! i have been doing a lot i have been using froogle to get my stuff into google by using instant cafe - and i have been using squidoo a lot because it lets you place your items on there like ads with your lens/blog on there - i have about 15 of those - and i have been telling everyone and just in general trying to drum up busniess whereever i can get it - i need to do more but i am not really sure what i can do right now to get my shop name out there other then just tell everyone abot it and keep trying to get my link anywhere i can think to put it (like here shopaholicchick)...i mean it is just a matter of getting people there now that my shop is up and running - i do try to add new stuff every week i have added another couple hundred since school let out december 15th i do have more to get up there but my pc is runnign a bit slow this evening so i will just ahve to wait a while - ok so i should get back to do something usefulll - please stop by and grab yourself a nice shirt ot button or something - i need every penny i can get to pay for my research this semester!~!!

wow it has been a long time since i posted anything on here - this semester was so crazy with school i really havent had time for many of the extra things in life. i have been keeping up on my shop - and i have added a bunch of new stuff - i added a whole section for sports designs and lots of great holiday stuff - over break now i will be working on my valentines day stuff (everything should be up 6 weeks prior to the holiday to allow time for search engine optomization) i also have about 20 books to read for the spring semester...so we will see how that goes

i have also been doing a lot of advertising online - i have run a ton of random ads in craigslist - i also joined squidoo - you should check out all the great lenses there - tons of great info it is a great place to network for whatever it is you love www.squidoo.com

new look

ok so i decided to add some little tiles on the right side bar of this blog showcasing sound of my favorite designs - i have 10 of them up there now - i may try to get some more up later - and i will change them out from time to time - but i thought it might be a greatplace to feature some designs

also i decided to offer a selection of my designs as a lower price- with my logo on the back - so if you are looking for a designs - and want to save a few bucks - take a look - if you dont mind the shirt having a back logo then you can save some big bucks on there!!

Uggghhhhh we are about to be hit with aa hurricane there are some nasty sounding winds out there - i can feel it coming thru my air condition - this sucks im glady i kept my winter blankets out and did not put them in the attic like everyone else in the house - it is cold in here!!!

going ok

well my design of the day blog is doing ok - sales are slow - not sure why - i guess maybe all the kids are moving into thier dorsm this week that might have something to sdo with it -

i just added a dozen holiday designs i have a crapload more to do - and i am making some i love crapola to be uploaded - dunno when it will ever get dun - i have like 400 designs to upload - i feel like i will never get it dun

i have cleared $250 for this month - but i was hoping for $300 - maybe i can get it next month

trying something new

ok so i decided to try something new - so i have gotten some other people to start up shops on cafepress - hopefully that will help i really hope thier shops take off - not just for the referral money i get either hehehehe -

i also decided to start another blog for a design of the day - to feature my shop & others favorite designs - the blog site is http://designoftheday.blogspot.com/ i hope it really takes off - i have about 10 shops signed up with designs ready to go - hopefully more will submit - if not i will search the marketplace for designs and put them up there - most shop owners don't mind when their designs get a feature spot anywhere - since it is all free advertising for thier shop!!

oh another thig i tried - i went to NYC last weekend for a few days to help out a friend and i left business cards in bathrooms - cabs - with tips in restraunts - i hope it pans out to some extra sales - i wish i lived there all the time - but then if i did i prolly would not have the money to eat out every meal or take cabs everywhere LOL - so for now i am back in south jersey - but i will leave business cards around here - not that i got them - if you want to get busniess cards check out vista print you can get 250 cards you just pay the shipping - it came to under $6 - and they look good!! i am leaving them everywhere i go - i hope it helps!! i could really use for my shop to take off!!

no sales

ok so i was having a great month - everything was selling great i was on my way to my best month ever - then suddenly on the 15th everything dropped off - i think it was in part to cafepress redesigning their page - some people are picking back up slowly - but i have not gotten anything - it is like i am dead suddenly not a thing - this sucks - i was having such a great month - shopaholic chick was headed for a $300 month - now i am stuck at $175 and staying there - i have been trying to upload more designs but i just cant seem to get motivated - i need to make another sale to motivate myself to start working on it again

i think i will also merge election place over into shopaholicchick - it is not making enuf to be self supportive - so i dont wanna pay 2 premium shops if i cant make the money on it - i was hoping the election portal would hlpe but they put the link below the fold - and it is not getting hits like it should - oh well i guess you learn from your mistakes...

i will keep working i put new i love designs up i love animals and such - i have some more to do foods and hobbies and all - but i dunno when i will get motivated to finish them...for now i just want to figure out why i died suddenly...

2 free weeks

yayayaya no classes for the next 2 weeks - so time to work on my shop -

yayaya i finally finished all the election designs - i started cleaning out my designs - getting rid of ones i am not using - and i found a folder full of designs on my pc for my shopaholicchick store that i have not finished/uploaded - i will try to get them on the shop soon - i just have so much work to do for classes too - well i better get some sleep it is 20 minutes past midnight here

finally

ok so i finally got the last of my election designs uploaded onto cafepress now i just need to go back and get them all onto product which i hopefully will have done tonight - if i can just get them up then i can work on adding more sections to my shopaholic chick store - i need to make about 25 sales on the election store to keep it open for the next year if not imma have to shut it dowm - so i hope u can make it!!!

UGHHH

Ok so i have all the designs made for the elecion coming up but cafepress wont let me load any more images and when i try to place the ones i uploaded already onto product it errors out - i hope they fix it fast - i wanna get this dun i have a lot of school work to do!!! OMG it is so frustrating when things do not work the way you want them to when you need them to...

ok so i am trying some new ways of advertising - i hope they start to pay off - everything free i am willing to try - i post blogs - i have my space i just joined another site which is supposed to be an anti-myspace called windows space - it is by MSN - but it sucks - it is slow - the pages do not load right - so i don;'t know if imma keep that up or not - but we will see how it goes - i have used craigs list - i have links on my aol & yahoo profiles - i post on several random forums with my link in my signature - i also hand out busniess cards everywhere i go - i wish i knew what else to do - i really want this shop to take off

pulling my hair out

OMG sometimes my obsession with more designs makes me just wanna pull my hair out - i hope this is worth it!!! i hope my election place shop takes off and i start selling some of this political stuff - i think i am about 2/3 of the way down the list of politicians i wanna get done - but i feel like imma never get finished - ugh this sucks!!

still launching

i am still trying to launch my second store election place hopefully it should start taking off shortly - cafepress will be opening the election 2006 portal next week so i am trying to get new designs up there ready to sell when it opens - but i also have a ton of other work i need to get done for my classes - which really sucks - i have a huge project due tuesday night for my one class - a 30 minute presentation and i dont even have 3 minutes done yet - i have not done any research so this sucks - imma have to finish it tommorrow or tonight - i need to get it dun - but i just cant seem to get motivated - it is such a boring topic - oh well i guess imma get back to working on it
